Technical Specifications

• Screw Type:Hi-Lo. These feature a unique dual-thread design—one high thread and one low thread. This provides superior grip, reduces the risk of cracking the material, and increases pull-out strength.


• Drive Type:Phillips (PHIL). Indicated by the cross symbol on the label.


• Head Style:Pan Head. This provides a flat bearing surface under the head, ideal for securing thin materials where you don't want the head to sink in.


• Point Type:Blunt End. Unlike standard sharp-tipped screws, these have a flat tip, which usually means they are designed to be driven into a pre-drilled hole.


• Finish:Zinc CR3+. This is a trivalent chromium plating that provides decent corrosion resistance while being more environmentally friendly than older hexavalent chrome finishes.


• Special Feature:Locking Nibs. These are small ridges under the head that "bite" into the surface to prevent the screw from vibrating loose.
